The singer from Puerto Rico faced immense backlash for choosing to sing in Spanish at an all-American event, while others slammed the decision made by the NFL to enable him to hold this honor of performing, despite being an international singer.
For the rival show, Kid Rock will reportedly headline, while other country superstars such as Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett will also be lined up to perform at this event.
The group added how the event is designed to celebrate themes such as faith, family, and freedom, and would take part in streaming on conservative-aligned networks and social media apps.
