Shocking reports are arriving regarding passengers who spent more than 13 hours with a dead body on a British Airways flight to London.
Nearly one hour after Flight BA 32 took off from Hong Kong on Sunday, a woman in her 60s is said to have passed away while on board the plane, as per reports from local media outlets.
{img}A customer sadly passed away on board that same flight, the airline's spokesperson shared. They also shared some heartfelt words for the family during this difficult time, adding how they did everything to help support their crew, and all procedures were followed correctly.
Following the death that arose, a source mentioned how the family and crew were both distraught. But this situation was not viewed as an emergency because the passenger had already passed away.
{img}They did add that a discussion was held regarding what needs to be done with the remains. And a request was made with the flight deck to lock it in a toilet, but that was rejected by the crew. This is why they had to isolate the body, wrap it in materials, and move it to a galley at the rear of the plane.
