White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who is married to Nicholas Riccio, is now expecting her second baby with her 60-year-old real estate husband this year.
The duo first met in 2022 through a mutual friend while Leavitt was campaigning for Congress. The pair dated and got engaged in December of 2023 and then tied the knot, two years later, in a private ceremony, days before Trump was inaugurated as the US President.
The duo shares a son, Nicholas Robert, but ever since the couple's age gap has entered the limelight, social media users have a tough time accepting the massive age gap between them. After all, it's 32 years!
A recent clip of the pair was published online, and the amount of hate and criticism seen was appalling to some, while others were just in awe. To add more to the hate, some asked if that was her father as they had a hard time digesting the news.
Others slammed her as a gold digger and wondered what could get a 28-year-old attracted to someone this old, other than money.
But despite all the hate, the couple says they're doing great, and even if there's a huge age gap, their love story is special.
