Jason Momoa escapes raging Hawaii floods as powerful storm batters the island: ‘We’re safe for now’

Actor Jason Momoa has recently shared that his family is now safe and said to be evacuating parts of Hawaii as a powerful storm batters the state.

The matter has unleashed the worst flash floods that this island has seen in more than 20 years.

The Aquaman star somberly revealed through Instagram that he and his family fled Oahu's North Shore on Friday after losing power as catastrophic rain and muddy floodwaters ravaged residences, streets, and cars, forcing huge evacuations near the Wahiawa Dam.

"We are safe for now but there are a lot of people who were not, so sending out all of our love"- the celeb mentioned in a disheartened tone to his fans on Instagram Stories.

In another post, Momoa added how he and his rock band canceled a fundraising gig to ensure everyone's safety.

"So, unfortunately we are going to cancel and maybe we will do something online, just to send out some music to people"- the Game of Thrones star mentioned.
